HKU Media pre-study (graphic design)

During the graphic design period of the media pre-study, I had to design a fictional poster for a theater performance about a topic of my choice. First, I did some research on the theme I wanted to address. I chose to make the performance about society because I find it a shame that people have so little consideration for each other and are often very selfish. After that, I made some sketches of how the poster should look. Then I started creating the poster. The poster on the left is the first version. I think the message on that poster is clear, but I just didn’t like it, and the colors didn’t work well. So, I started creating a new poster. The poster on the right ultimately became my final product.
